more about me!

Thanks for dropping by! This is Celia, currently enjoying Seattle's misty rain and lush evergreen🌲(Fun fact: Not too bad for me since I grew up being obsessed with the Twilight saga…)

Coming from a background in business, I stumbled upon UX during my first startup job working as an assistant business manager, dabbling all kinds of stuff- from content design, competitive market and product research business strategy, startup pitching, marketing, and UX design for a cybersecurity product. What truly excited me was creating designs that streamline user experience while also contributing to tangible business impact.

While I was enjoying all that, noticing the gap between business strategy and design thinking inspired my transition into UX research. Fun fact- I love interviewing people and sitting behind a two-way mirror in the meeting room to observe participants—uncovering insights that shape better user experiences is what drives me!

I'm skilled in both quantitative and qualitative research, ensuring my findings are backed by concrete data, the simple idea of contributing to a better user journey makes my day.

My roots provides me a well-rounded perspective and strong foundation in this interdisciplinary intersection- I enjoy leveraging my experience in business, research and design to work towards business goals and help the world create more accessible & user-centric products.

Oh, and have I mentioned that I truly believe in the idea of "connecting the dots from the past"-pretty much sums up my UX journey, and you’ll see plenty of that while you’re here! :)
